Prosecutors on Monday decided not to seek the death penalty against a man accused of killing Cuban reggae singer El Tiger.
Damian Valdez-Galoso is facing several accusations, including a first-degree murder, an attempt to season physical evidence and possession of a firearm by a convicted criminal in the shooting.
Although Valdes-Galoso did not appear in court, prosecutors decided that he should receive a life imprisonment if convicted.
The thirty-seven-year-old El Tiger, whose real name was Jose Manuel Carbadzhal, was found suffering from a firearm at the back of the SUV in the area of the northwestern nine Avenue and 17th street near Jackson’s Memorium back on October 3, 2024.
The footage of the camera’s camera shows that an employee is responsible and finds the all -terrain vehicle who works with El Tieger in the back, not re -personally.
El Tiger was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition and died from his injuries days later, on October 10.
Less than three weeks after El Tieger died of his injuries, Valdez-Galoso was detained in New York.
After being transferred to Miami-Dad prison, he was accused of killing El Tiger.
According to a statement of arrest, the singer went to the Valdes-Galoso Hyalus House early in the morning on October 3.
Police said Valdez-Galoso opened the door and shot El Tieger in the head, in a shocking crime caught on video and received by NBC6.
