Program for improving the city of Renault – Kolo

Reno, Nev. (Kolo) – The city of Renault is launching a new program aimed at allowing residents to apply for projects to improve neighborhoods in Ward 3.

Applications for the love that your block mini grant will be accepted this Friday. The program will continue until March 22. The selected candidates will be notified by April 22.

The city says the grants will support the initiatives to help contribute to the revival of the neighborhoods and spaces of the community in the ward.

The project may include but not limited to:

  • A little home repairs
  • Community cleaning
  • Improvements in the neighborhood
  • Social

Eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • Applications are open to individual residents over the age of 18, groups or organizations
  • Applicants should not own the property to apply (tenants are welcome), but they must be ready to obtain permission from the owner
  • Project budgets should be between $ 500 to $ 3,000
  • The project should benefit from the Ward 3 Community and improve the neighborhood
  • Projects must be completed by July 18, 2025.
