By james art Residents of Orange County gathered around the Irvine Civil Center on February 17, Presidents Day, to protest against President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
At the intersection of Harvard Avenue and Alton Parway, the protesters held signs protesters against the Facism and Trump as the vehicles moved, suggesting their horns to show support.
Through the movement of the Grassroot 50501, protesters gathered in response to the “anti -democratic and illegal actions of the Trump administration and its plutocratic allies”. The organization held protests in other major cities under the name “no royal day”.
Protesters participated in a peaceful relevance called Protest Fas, turning to what they described as threats to democracy in the Trump administration. The Republic of Orange Dave Min County stood with the protesters.
“The resistance must be fired again,” Min said in the Orange County register.
Protesters expressed dissatisfaction with the creation of Trump by the Ministry of Government Efficiency (Doge). The department was created “to implement the president’s agenda by upgrading federal technology and software to maximize government efficiency and performance.”
According to the business standard, Trump described Musk “as a functional DOG leader”. However, Musk remains as an unpaid volunteer for the organization, while holding the title of a “special civil servant”. His role involves dealing with US national debt and saving taxpayers.
The New York Times has recently announced that Trump has turned to Dog’s potential efforts to take 20% of his savings and return money to US taxpayers.
With the creation of a doji, protesters expressed their disagreement with the organization and musk. Jacques Kilchoer, a resident of the protester and Costa Mesa, said that Musk’s position as a “special civil servant” was neither elected nor appointed, calling him a “great neglect” for the establishment of the Federal Government Constitution.
“The main thing to do the federal government is to make sure that all the laws written in the books [are] Granched, ”Kilchoer told New University. “We are not saying that since he is president, he can ignore what the hell wants.”
Dog is one of the 68 executive orders that Trump has signed after taking office. Protesters also oppose others, including the enforcement order 14160, which challenges the 14th amendment, refusing the citizenship of the birth of persons whose “mother was illegally present in the United States and the father, is not a citizen of the United States” together with Other categories of people.
“My father was an immigrant,” Kilchoer said. “This fact that he wants to respond to the immigrants who [harms] An important part of the US, really doesn’t sit well with me. “
