Preparing for immersion in support of the Special Olympiad Vermont – Wcax

Burlington, Vt. (WCAX) – Hundreds of people and their supporters are preparing to immerse themselves in Lake Champlay this weekend to support the athletes of the Special Olympics Vermont.

Penguin Plunge begins at 11am on the Burlington coast.

On Friday night, people gathered at a mixer before the event. Our Catarin Huntley registers to understand what people need to know before the event.

And our Jess Langlua has a spoonful of what the weather will be for this frosty swim.
