Chesapeake, Ohio-Chesapeake stays at its share from the first place in the Basketball Basketball Competition from the Ohio Valley Conference on Tuesday, defeating Norm Persin Court’s South Point 53-41.
The Panthers (15-1, 9-0 OVC) are bound by Fairland (14-1, 9-0) for the league lead. The dragons beat Ironon by 61-56 in double overtime on Tuesday.
South Point (6-9, 4-6) stayed early before Chesapik withdrawn for the lead by 24-17 to the half. Then the Panthers used a 17-8 third-quarter running to lead a comfortable lead.
Philip Taker led the OVC Champion’s protection with 16 points. Kaden Perkins and Madox Casee scored 11 points.
Braden Hanchow was walking on the director with 14 points.

Jacob Spurlok led four Boyd County players in double digits with 20 points, as the Lions (11-8) improved to 6-1 in 2025.
Cole Hicks scored 19 points, Jackson Childers produced 15, and Ethan Rarden was dropped in 10.
Wade Loson led the comet (3-15) with 16 points. West Carter has cut off its last seven exits.

Dae’quan Woods led the Trojans with 23 points. Malachi Johnson Chippi with 17 points.
Owen Johnson has scored 19 points and Rylan Smtih 11 for Hornets (6-10, 2-9).
