West Midlands Police have asked the public for help to identify a man caught on camera after an incident at a shop in Aston Lane, Birmingham, on December 11.
The incident, in which a man pulled out a knife and ran off with stolen items, happened shortly after 8.40pm.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “A man entered the shop and took items including alcohol and bread.
“A member of staff noticed that he had only paid for the bread and when challenged he pulled out a knife and made threats before fleeing the shop with the stolen alcohol.”
