Police execute a search order in Betel – Valley News

Bethel, the special drug group in Vermont, has executed a search order around 6am at 62 Gage Road in East Bethel on Thursday.

Windsor County Sheriff Ryan Palmer said two residents of the home, Richard Bols and India Tuidi, are among several detainees and taken to the Vermont state police barracks in Royalton.

Tweedie will be appointed on charges in violation of an order to prevent abuse, violation of the conditions for renewing and stealing retail at Windsor’s Supreme Court on Thursday afternoon after being arrested by order, Palmer said.

East Bethel resident Eliza Nichols said she had heard a disturbance in the neighborhood and sounds that made her think there was a shooting shortly after 6 in the morning “it’s coming for a long time,” she said.

Captain Ashley Barnes of Special Investigations by Vermont State Police said there were no shots and no public threat. VSP SGT. Dustin Robinson said Flash-Bangs were used to declare the presence of police at home.

Police in tactical facilities and gas masks were seen moving between the home and two armcat vehicles. Gage Road was blocked by about 7:30 in the morning, with residents turned back and the White River Valley Union school bus was prevented from going up the road.
