Plastic Ocean Project to be kept for the Ocean Benefit Gala – Wect

Wilmington, NC (Wect) – a non -profit goal hosts the evening of fun to celebrate its achievements to preserve the ocean without plastic pollution.

Marisi Marzili and Bonnie Monteleone with Plastic Ocean Project (POP) visited the Wect studio to discuss the special event and how attendees can help keep our waters clean.

“We will start in the evening with our silent auction, which has many items donated by our generous community,” Marzili said. “We will continue to enjoy many horseshoes and some music.”

The event will also hold a live auction and a chance to win one of the many gifts only for presence.

The event is a cocktail coastal clothing and every ticket purchase includes entry into a gala and parking voucher for the parking lot. All receipts will go to POP initiatives in the Community.

“We are very lucky, this is a generous community and that money goes for research,” Monteleone said. “This money goes to research. We have a complete research facility at UNCW, which we actually pay to be there, and this research is significant because we bring people to the open ocean. “

The event will be at ALOFT WILMINGTON at Coastline Center on March 15 from 6:30 pm to 11 pm

You can buy tickets and donate to pop here.
