Planning applications approved in Durham County – including dentist offers – North Echo

An application for planning for change of trade unit in dental practice has been approved.

The former outdoor life department at Trade Park St andrews, Dragon Lane, Durham, will now become a dental practice for MyDentist.

This move comes after the current Mydentist premises in Durham received a release notice.

This change of location is seen as a necessary step to preserve 24 existing jobs in the region.

In addition, the changed use of space is set to create 11 new tasks.

The new dental practice will be equipped with up to 10 surgical premises, a new waiting area and additional internal adjustments to comply with practice operations.

A new mezzanine floor will also be added to the device.

Proposals for plates and other ads will be submitted in a separate application for advertising consent.

Belmont’s parish council expressed its full support for the application, recognizing the expansion of NHS dental services.

The Council has hoped that MyDentist’s engagement to increase the availability of dental services for NHS patients will be fulfilled.

The application is approved on the basis that development will not harm the surrounding properties or context due to its insignificant nature and lack of external changes.

Dental practice will retain the existing parking area, with six intervals specially allocated to block 5.

In a separate solution, the Hardwick Hall History Gate will be repeated to its original place east of 1 Hardwick Road, Sedgefield.

The gate, which stands 2,250 mm in height and a width of 1565 mm, will be launched and restored with components for replacement of steel and wrought iron.

A steel display structure will be made for displaying the gate, including laser profiled steel plaque, which details the information about the gate and its donation.

The frame will be eco -friendly and dust -covered in black semi -voices.

Re -re -lifting the gate is considered acceptable as it will not have a detrimental effect on the character and housing convenience of the area.

This move is expected to return a piece of Sedgefield history to see and provide an additional historical feature in Sedgefield.

Another solution approved the erection of pavilions and associated works on processing the Durham Road sewer processing, Lanchester.

The application is approved with a net biodiversity profit (BNG).

Finally, an application was approved to place a portacabin behind the Second Street village, Quaking Houses, Stanley, was approved.

The portacabine should be used to store gardening and outdoor equipment.

The authorization to plan this application was granted without the need for a biodiversity profit plan due to the insignificant nature of the development and the fact that it does not affect the habitat of a priority on the spot under the Law on Natural Environment and Rural Communities of 2006.

Archive of planning applications, with details of their validation and solutions, is available on the Durham County Council Website.
