Amid PKF Smith Cooper’s expansion plans, the firm is migrating its Birmingham team to a new location. The office which will now host the practice is a Grade A building on Cornwall Street.

The move comes as the firm expands its other dealerships in Derby and Nottingham to underline its regional commitment to the Midlands. According to Hodson, the firm’s expansion into Birmingham will benefit the entire business community, as the new office space will support hybrid working while providing an attractive office space that is fully equipped to “meet the needs of our employees and facilitate collaboration “.
PKF Smith Cooper is a member of the PKF network in the Midlands, providing individuals and businesses in the region and beyond with a full range of audit, accountancy, tax and advisory services. The company has closed over 100 deals worth a total of £2 billion in the past year.
It has already been a busy year for PKF Smith Cooper’s Birmingham team as well, as it welcomes 19 new staff from January 2024. The office move will help support further team growth as part of the company’s ambitious plans to double in size si – with new premises at the Cornerblock on Cornwall Street in Birmingham, including state-of-the-art facilities such as an on-site gym and the city’s largest private roof terrace.

Legal advice on the office relocation was provided by Andrew Stokes, Commercial Property Partner at Clarke Willmott. Meanwhile, PKF Smith Cooper was also advised on the move by CBRE professionals.
