Pima Graves’ goal against Glendale earns ACCAC Player of the Week honors – TucsonSentinel.com

Pima Community College women’s soccer player Solaris Graves (Ironwood Ridge HS) scored a clutch goal last week and was honored by the ACCAC Conference.

Graves, a sophomore linebacker, was named the ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 13-19. She is the fourth Pima player to earn the honor this season.

Graves scored the big goal in Pima’s 2-1 win over Glendale Community College last Saturday for their fifth straight victory. She put the Aztecs up 2-0 with a goal in the 52nd minute.

She has played in 12 of the 13 games; made 11 starts this season with four goals and two assists. Graves scored 13 career goals at Pima.

The No. 8-ranked Aztecs close out the regular season Saturday when they host No. 5 Phoenix College at West Campus Aztec Field. The game is scheduled for 8 p.m
