Photos: MVPA-HA Jefferson Highway Convoy Stops at State Capitol – The Advocate

The Military Vehicle Preservation Association – Historic Archives, MVPA-HA, made a morning stop at the State Capitol during part of the convoy along the Jefferson Highway.

The convoy, made up of 34 military vehicles from World War II and the Korean War, retraced the route of the 1918 Jefferson Highway that stretches from the Minnesota border to New Orleans. The convoy left on October 1 and is over 2,500 miles.

From the capital, the convoy made its way along the historic route of the Jefferson Highway, its last stop of the day being the Humas House.
