The Vancouver Canucks are a tight-knit group, especially after making a big run in the Stanley Cup Playoffs this spring. Being a close-knit group allows for some friendly banter and chirping back and forth between teammates, something Philip Hronek and Connor Garland do quite often during practice.
Filip Hronek recently sat down for an interview with Sportsnet’s Elliot Friedman that aired on Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday, where the Czech defenseman shared a hilarious exchange of sizzle he had with Connor Garland.
Eliot Friedman: “Is it true that no one drives you more practically insane than Connor Garland?”
Philip Hronek: – No. (laughs)’
Eliot Friedman: “Because I heard him chirping you about being the number six defender.”
Philip Hronek: “Okay…but he’s also number twelve up front” (both laugh)
