The Seattle Children’s Hospital has stopped care for the affirmation of the gender, abandoning its commitment to ensuring complete, life -saving treatment. The refusal of this basic concern – known and supported by all major medical organizations – will cause unnecessary pain and suffering for some of our most vulnerable patients.
We require immediate cancellation of this decision. If the administrators refuse, we are ready to take further action. We also call on Washington General Nick Brown Prosecutor to investigate the hospital for potential violations of state laws against gender discrimination.
