Sioux Falls, SD (Dakota News Now) – Some Sioux Falls residents have filed a petition on the decision of the SIU Falls Municipal Council to pour out the Brockhouse collection.
The decision adopted this week, which allows this city to give the bigger part of the collection to three organizations.
Mike Titterch and Jason Haak said the aim of the petition was to allow voters to vote “Yes” or “No” for the resolution of the City Council.
“We will collect as many signatures as possible. We have to get 7,600, but we’ll go for about 10,000. Just so we’re sure we have enough, so if they throw away some that are not registered, we’ll get better, “Haak said.
Haack has the petition at the Abby Normal of the Strange Interstate 29 at the exit of Harisburg.
He said the museum will be opened with a free reception this weekend for anyone who wants to sign the petition.
