Like the new characters joining the series, details about the film’s plot are also under wraps, except for picking Shelby’s story sometime in World War II. Other returnees for the film from the original series include Ned Dennehy (Culprits) as Charlie Strong, Packy Lee (Blue lights) as Johnny Dogs and Ian Peck (His dark materials) as Curly. Peaky alum director Tom Harper (The wretches) will direct the film from Knight’s script. Knight and Murphy executive produce Karin Mandabach, Guy Healy, David Kose, Jamie Glazebrook, Andrew Warrenand David Mason.
The Peaky Blinders the film is being shot in the UK, with an estimated release date of late 2025. Peaky Blinders Seasons 1 through 6 are streaming on Netflix.
