PC completed upgrades to the University of Vermont Medical Center Emergency Department – New England Real Estate Journal Online

Burlington, VT The PC construction team has completed the renovation of 3000 S/F in the existing emergency department at the University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC). The purpose of the project was to build a specialized pediatric space in the emergency room and to include significant improvements in order to maximize the patient’s comfort and to improve staff facilities.

PC has built five new capricious thematic pediatric tests and an attached waiting space dedicated to pediatric patients. Team station updates and major repairs in the existing patient registration area and security office were also completed.

The project is completed in the midst of current operations in the largest and most busy medical center in Vermont. PC coordinates all efforts to eliminate potential disorders of patient care, including the overall way of finding, consistency of strong activities during out -of -time and temporary movement of several employees. PC also works with suppliers to coordinate the partial stops of the corridor to allow continuous daily activities.

This multi-phase project enhances the emergency pediatric assistance of the UVM Medical Center by providing an attractive, comfortable environment in a segregated area, tailored to the care for the youngest patients in the region.
