PBS Reno and Sinclair Broadcast Group, LLC, Sinclair subsidiary, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI), proudly announce the start of KNPB-VC, a new virtual ATSC 3.0 channel emitting on a virtual channel 5-11. This innovative start brings the high quality PBS Reno programming in Nextgen’s television space, offering viewers the most modern experience, including improved picture quality with Advanced HDR by Technicolor.

The programming of KNPB-VC reflects that of the main PBS Reno 5-1 channel while providing improved accessibility for those with TVs activated by Nextgen.

Virtual ATSC 3.0 channels are transmissions that provide programming directly on the air of Smart TVS using the capacity of the Nextgen Broadcast Data channel of the host. Viewers with Nextgen TVS can view and select KNPB-VC in their programming guide and access to the channel seamlessly online.
