Paul Kish – Marquette Mining Journal

Paul was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 15, 1949, son of the late Dorothy Jean (Lark) and Stephen Thomas Kish. He graduated from St. Mary High School in Redford, Michigan and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Detroit.

Paul has been working as a bank test in Michigan- the Ministry of Trade for many years and has retired as a car seller at Newberry Motors.

Paul and Katie enjoyed their time to live in Curtis, Michigan, on the great manustic lake, spending time on his pontoon boat, also wintering in surprise, AZ, where he enjoyed his pool and golf. Paul was an avid fan of lions and red wings and a football fan of the University of Michigan, who has owned seasonal tickets for 30 years. He was a member of the village club Wawonowin and a member of the Catholic Church of St. Joseph in Ispheming.

Paul survived his wife Katie (Norel) Kish, whom he married on June 20, 1981, sister Christine Hartman (Bob Reisberg) by St. Paul, Mn, Brother, Kenneth (Pat) Kish of Rochester Hills, Michigan, Michigan , Michigan, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan, Mi Sisters Laws; Karen (Jerry) Player from Ispheming, Bunny Norel of Blufon, SK and Mary Teilen of Marinet, Wi, nephews and nephews; Brian, Grant, Mark, Matthew, Alan, Stephen, Kerry, Mark, Jenny, Bret, along with some great nephews and great nephews.

Paul is preceded by death by his parents Dorothy and Stephen Kish, his laws, Renault and Sue Norel and Zet Bruce Norel.

A private grave service for Paul will be held at the cemetery.

Paul’s family wants to thank the staff at Norlite Nursing Center for the wonderful care provided to Paul while he was a resident there.
