Pacific FC’s Emil Gazdov, Vancouver FC’s Calum Irving and York United FC’s Thomas Vincencini are the finalists for the Canadian Premier League’s Golden Glove Award, which honors the best goalkeeper in the 2024 regular season.
The winner, which will be determined by a vote of the technical management of all eight CPL clubs, as well as selected media, will be announced on November 7 in Calgary as part of the CPL Championship festivities.
Irving started all 28 games for Vancouver in his second season with the club. The 31-year-old Eagles captain led all CPL goalkeepers with a league-record 96 saves. And his 3.43 saves per 90 minutes ranked him first among CPL goalkeepers with at least 10 starts.
Irving was also nominated for the award in 2020 and 2022.
