Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath announces Reunion for the final show – 1News

Ozzy Osbourne will reunite with all the original Black Sabbath members for the first time in 20 years, in a concert, which will be his last, and this is charged as the “most big” metal show ever, promoters said.

The group, one of the most influential of all heavy metal groups, will head the Home Show on July 5 at Villa Park, home to the Aston Villa football club in Birmingham, England.

“It’s time to go back to the beginning … It’s time to get back to where I was born,” Ozborne says in a statement.

“How blessed I do with the help of people I love? Birmingham is the real home of metal. Birmingham forever.”

Osborne, who was the front man of the group during his peak period in the 70s of the last century and who was widely known as the Prince of Dark It for the first time after two decades.

The full -day event will also include large metal strips, including Metallica, Slayer and Alice in Chains, with more names that will be announced soon.

“This will be the biggest heavy metal show ever,” said music director Tom Morelo.

In 2020, Osburn revealed that he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and he stopped touring in 2023 after an extensive spinal surgery. He has been fighting health problems since 2003 after the crash with a four -bicycle, injuries that were aggravated in 2019 when he fell home.

Sabbath’s story began in Birmingham in 1968, when the four original members sought to escape from the life of the factory.

Their eponymous debut album in 1970 made the Top 10 of the United Kingdom and paved the way to a series of hit albums, including Master of Reality and Vol from 1971 4 years later.

They have become one of the most influential and successful metal groups of all time, selling more than 75 million albums worldwide.

Osborne’s glory expanded to the mainstream in the early 2000s, when he joined his wife Sharon Osborne and two of their children in the extremely successful reality TV show at MTV the Osbournes.

All the winnings of the show on July 5 will go to charity organizations, including Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Hospital and ACorn Children’s Hospital, which is supported by Aston Villa.

Tickets are on sale on February 14th.
