LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Actor and “Outer Banks” star Austin North has complied with court requirements after assaulting hospital staff in Las Vegas earlier this year.
The incident took place in February in the emergency room of UMBAL.
The arrest report states that North punched one nurse, punched another nurse in the face and pushed a phlebotomist into a table. The phlebotomist hit North in the forehead with a silver tray to defend himself.
Security then arrived, subdued North and put him on a gurney.
After the incident, North posted a statement on Instagram saying he was “deeply upset” by the incident in Las Vegas, had a severe anxiety attack and had “very little memory” of what happened.
North was charged with three counts of battery on a protected person.
Court records show he entered a no-contest plea in July, meaning the defendant pleads not guilty but still accepts the sentence.
The court ordered that from July 22, 2024 to October 21, 2024, North must stay out of trouble, attend mental health counseling and perform 17 hours of community service.
According to court records, North complied with all of those requirements, and as a result, all three charges were dismissed.
