Santa Fe, Nm (AP)-Actor who won an Oscar Jine hackmanHis wife and dog were found dead at their home in New Mexico, authorities said on Thursday.

The rude but adherent Hakman was among the best actors From his generation, appearing as villains, heroes and anti -heroes in dozens of dramas, comedies and action films from the 60s until his retirement in the early 2000s.

Hakman met with Arakava, a classically trained pianist who grew up in Hawaii, when she worked part-time at the California gym in the mid-1980s, the New York Times reported in 1989. They soon moved together and broke up to Santa Fa by the end of the decade.

Their ranch in the southwestern style of Old Sunset Trail sits on a hill in a gated community with views of the rocky mountains.

The 2,300 square meter home per hectare (0.4 hectares) was built in 2000 and has an approximate market value of just over $ 1 million, according to tax records on Santa Fu County ownership. It is modest compared to the dispersed neighborhood mansion, which was estimated at $ 7.9 million.

“We like simple stories that some of the small low -budget films manage to produce,” he said.
