Oscar nominations include Laredo Movies and Talent – KGNS

Laredo, Tex. (KGNS) – Oscar awards nominations have come out and fans are buzzing around this year’s photos. KGNS NEWS DIRECTOR and Pop. Out of the clock Podcast Cohost, Yocelin Gallaro, joined the anchor Mindy Caso to share his thoughts and forecasts.

“This year, the Oscars have big performances and many surprises,” Galardo said. “There is something to look forward to on March 2.”

Forecasts

Galardo emphasized the main categories, starting with the best support actress. The nominees include Monica Barbaro (Unknown), Ariana Grande (Wicked), Felicity Jones (Brutalist), Isabella Roselini (Conclave), and Zoey Saldana (Emilia Perez).

“My heart is with Ariana Grande, but I think Zoe Saldana is the one who will beat her performance in Emilia Perezsaid Galardo.

In the category of the best support actor, Galardo predicts Kiran Culkin (Real pain) will win. Other candidates include Jura Borisov (Anora), Edward Norton (Unknown), Guy Pierce (Brutalist), and Jeremy Strong (Apprentice).

“Kiran so far covers most awards. Jeremy Strong is a strong contender, but Kiran runs the race, “Galardo added.

For the best actress, the nominees are Cynthia Erivo (Wicked), Carla Sofia Gascon (Emilia Perez), Mikey Madison (Anora), Demi Moore (Substance), and Fernanda Torres (I’m still here).

“Carla Sofia Gascon has already made history as the first open transgender woman nominated for an Oscar,” Galardo said. “But my choice is Demi Moore, although Fernanda Torres may be the winner of the surprise.”

In the category of the best actor, Adrien Brody (Brutalist) is the gable. Other nominees are Timothée Chalamet, Colman Domingo, Ralph Fiennes and Sebastian Stan.

For the best photo, Galardo sees Brutalist as a favorite.

Brutalist It looks like the best choice for the best photo, ”she said. “He tells a powerful story about a Hungarian Jewish man who survived a concentration camp and builds the American dream.”

Local

Galardo also celebrates a local relationship. Adrian Caesada, a native of Larendo, was nominated for the best original song with “Like a Bird” of SingS

“We have to give Adrian his flowers and celebrate his success,” Galardo said.
