Muskegon – The Orchard View boys’ basketball team brought the second quarter to the second half to win 68-55 WMC-Lakes return Friday night.

The papers came out strong for 16-8 in the first quarter.

However, the cardinals shook it and cut it to merge, 30-27, entering the half.

The Cardinals continued to mileage in the second half and secured the victory.

Packers Carter Sherman had 16 points, eight rebounds and four thefts. Mossen Green added 16 points, six rebounds and five assists, while Brade Crosley had eight points, three assists and three thefts. Logan McLain threw four points, nine blocks and five rebounds.

Orchard View (6-11, 4-6) hosts Nayaygo on Tuesday.

Fremont (5-13, 2-7) travels to Mason Central District on Saturday.
