During a start -up event held in Johannesburg this afternoon, Oppo debuted the middle of the Reno 13 series in South Africa a few months before graphics. Unlike last year, Reno 13 Pro was missing from the starting lineup this year, making the way to Reno 13 5G, and ultimately, Reno 13 F 5Gs are ready to join the wider Oppo smartphone in SA.

Oppo Reno 13 F 5G
If this is a little outside your price range, Reno 13 F 5G may be more your speed. It makes a far less premium body that Oppo thinks can still withstand a barrage of threats thanks to the IP69 certification as a regular Reno 13. The screen is also larger, including 6.67in FHD 120Hz-Amoled display , which “will reach 2100 nits.
The similarities end there. Reno 13 F 5G packages in the cheaper, less executive Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 Chipset, which immediately explains the cheaper price. The battery, on the other hand, is a monster of 5 800mAh, combined with 45W cable charging capabilities. How it is in the real world, with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 at the back, remains to be seen.
Finally, the Reno 13 F 5G is bought with a similar range of its brothers’ camera. A 50MP sensor runs the package while 8MP Ultrawide and 2MP macro cameras round the composition of three cameras. The 32MP sensor in front is weaker than its colleague, but still differs beyond what we expect from the average rates in this price range. AI is not left from the photo here, with the Reno 13 F 5G repeating the characteristics of its kind.
However, the Oppo Reno 13 F 5G will only appear in March 2025, although the smartphone has already appeared on the Oppo website in South Africa.
