Operation A lot of things expands to the center of Harrelson – WWAY NEWSChannel 3

Wilmington, NC (WWAY)-A Natural Things is a non-profit purpose dedicated to loving and empowering victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, celebrating their extended apartment at the Harelson Center on Friday.

With the extended space, there is room for volunteer opportunities to submit gifts to shelters and create boxes for medium -sized students with resource information.

There is also a place for the Care4 program for women to take their hair and makeup before they have to sit in front of their abusers in court.

The founder and executive director of the operation “Nice things” – Missi Bennett says it all started in the living room.

“And now we take an even more prominent position in this building, which represents hope and healing and restoration and redemption. Just to be a small part of it, “Bennet said.
