Open enrollment of the Wisconsin Public School begins on February 3 – WSAW

(WSAW) – Families who want to send their children to a public school outside their home area can start the application process on Monday, February 3rd.

In Wisconsin, families can apply for an “open record”. Every Wisconsin resident from 4K to 12th grade is eligible. However, a child can transfer to a non -resident school for education at an early age or 4K if the children’s school district offers the same type of program and only if the child is eligible for this program in the resident school.

Parents are responsible for providing transportation to and from a school in the school neighborhood in Nestember, with some exceptions.

Open enrollment must be completed by April 30.
