WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — One person was killed in a shooting Tuesday night, the Winston-Salem Police Department confirmed.
According to a press release around 6:35 p.m. WSPD responded to a suspected shooting in the 400 block of Eldora Street and found that one person had been shot.
Barry Deshon Jones, 31, of Winston-Salem, died from his injuries.
The initial investigation indicated that the shooting was isolated and that the victim was targeted by the suspect.
