One in hospital after airline is landed on a medical incident in Durham County – Yahoo News UK

One person was taken to hospital after a medical incident at Durham County over the weekend, as the airline landed at the scene.

Emergency services were called to West Auckland on Saturday (January 25th) at about 2.30pm after reports of an incident underway.

Paramedics, doctors and air ambulance were dumped at the scene, while police were also reported to be on the incident.

Air ambulance in West Auckland (Image: a large northern air ambulance) Following the incident, the Grand ambulance of North Air has confirmed that his crews are present at the scene and provide medical assistance to the paramedics who are already in the place through the road ambulance.

One person was taken to a hospital with an ambulance for further treatment.

A spokesman for the air ambulance said: “On Saturday, our critical care team was activated at 2.30pm until reports of a medical incident in Western Auckland, Durham County.

“We had a paramedic and a doctor aboard our plane and they arrived on the spot at 14.41.

“Our team worked with the North -East (NEAS) ambulance service to evaluate and treat a patient, and they were taken to hospital by a NEAS Road crew, accompanied by our team.”

This incident was one of the six for which the Great North Air ambulance teams say they were present over the weekend.

They attended three incidents in the northeast and three incidents in Cambria.

These incidents include a collision of road traffic, two medical incidents, two cardiac arrests and a fall.
