One E. Hill, a beloved and hidden member of his community, died quietly on January 23, 2025 in his home state Virginia at the age of 89. Born March 12, 1935 in Virginia, a life is full of kindness, wisdom and gentle guidance, enriching the lives of all who knew her.
A specialized professional, one has worked in Texako for many years, where she showed a delightful work ethics and the fierce dedication to her responsibilities. Beyond her professional life, her personal passions were many, including her love for crochet, reading and cooking. She was particularly known for her acute riddles and delightful pineapple casualties, treats that brought joy for family gatherings and community events.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and as a loyal member of the Emmanuel Emmanuel, one found power, purpose and a sense of belonging in her church community. Her spiritual commitment and devotion were obvious in her daily actions and interactions, serving as inspiration for those around her.
A woman of elegance and grace, she was always gathered, radiating warmth that was complemented by her love for the pink color. One was known for her heartfelt nature, combined with a meaningless attitude that won her the respect and admiration of friends and family.
The family of one was the heart of its existence. She was a wonderful grandmother and great -grandmother, honoring moments spent with their sons Patrick, his wife Patricia, Michael and Ralph. Her heritage continues through her grandchildren, Clayton, Jordan and Jennifer, and her great -grandchildren, Adeline, Alice and Braxton, who will bring their values and spirit.
Preceded by the death by her loving husband Ralph Hill and her parents William and Dorothy Boyer, the memory of one will forever be hidden by her surviving family members and countless others whose life has touched.
The visit will be held from 18:00 to 20:00 on Thursday, January 30, at the Altmeyer Funeral House, 5033 Rouse Drive in Virginia Beach. The next day, a grave end of the Colonial Grove Memorial Park will be held on Friday, January 31 at 11 am.
As we get together to honor the remarkable journey of one, we remember it as a beacon of love, resilience and grace – a leading light whose heritage will continue to inspire future generations.
