Age, an unknown author notes “is just the number of years your world enjoys.” This is more true for the life of an exceptional person, Malam Olaway Rashid, who unfolded to become one of the biggest things that happen to humanity.
Born February 2, 1965, Mallam rasheed is the embodiment of virtues and the most clear manifestation of what is possible with a firm ideal of success. Starting from a disadvantaged position, Mallam rasheed combines a remarkable sense of personal discipline and hard work to become a household name in the journalistic space.
Ever since his first shot in journalism with the Third Eye newspaper in the early 1990s, Malam Rashid maintained a delightful attitude to professionalism. It was his work ethics and the ability to perform the appointed roles that he won the best appointments in the Tribune newspaper, one of the leading national daily newspapers in Nigeria, when he was only at the end of his 30s.
He then took the role of the political editor of the group in the Nigerian rostrum, coordinating the political report of the newspaper across the country. At the same time, the Nigerian tribune Malam Rashid occupies the regional editor of the northern role, managing the growing presence of the newspaper in the 19th states in Northern Nigeria.
Later, he served as a special assistant to the Honorary Minister of Youth, the Senator Olasunkanmi Akinlabi, between 2007 and 2011, contributing greatly to the scale of the newly created ministry and provided results. He supports his director to become one of the best ministers, both at the end of Umar Musa Yaradua and D -Ro Gudluk Edge Jonathan.

It was an exceptional honor of my life to share not only his remarkable sense of service, but also from his benevolence, which weighed positively on my life direction.
So, for me, since today Malam Rashid marks the age of 60, this is more than the celebration of the time, which reflects the moment. An important point is to recognize not only his personal outgrowths and achievements, but also the degree of impact of his works and contribution to people in the field of life.
When mentioned by Mallam rasheed, what seems to come to the mind of many, is a completed journalist or politician expert. But this does not say the whole truth about him, because Malam Rashid is a torch, a consensus builder and a man who is after the good of all. Those who know the things that Mallam Rasheed was made will not be surprised by his ability to take on difficult tasks and make the right difference for society.
Mallam rasheed remains a brilliant example of dedication, using human resources and intellects to achieve set goals. In his current role as a speaker of the governor of Osun, Malam Rashid’s ability to unite talents to effectively transmit policies and interventions to the government aimed at influencing life positively.
In his hometown of Iwo, Mallam rasheed is a vanguard of development interventions, examining both government and private sources to lead to the necessary recovery of people. Mallam Rasheed sponsors the education of less privileged, provides grants to start or expand business, support the community efforts in fulfilling certain amenities, finances health accounts for weaknesses, facilitates the employment and training opportunities for young people and generally helps to people. I had the privilege of witnessing his sincere passion first -hand to put a smile on the faces of the weak in society.
These are even more why Mallam rasheed is hugged in the hours. Although a dedicated Muslim who watches the fifth pillar of Islam, Malam Rashid recognizes and respects differences in faith, encourages a sense of unity and promotes peace. He is a person who believes in the power of peace as a catalyst for development and always strives to do so.
While he is 60 today, I celebrate not only the numbers but also the huge values of his remarkable life and the human face behind his actions of generosity. While I thank Allah Subhanavahala for his grace to Malam Rashid over the years, I pray for his endless blessings for him, hoping that he has enjoyed more years to make effects and help people achieve their dreams.
