O’Connor poured into career 27 points, Seawolves launched a close battle in UNC Wilmington – Stony Brook Athletics

Wilmington, North Carolina – Stony Brook’s men’s basketball fought to the final that fell 80-70 at UNC Wilmington on Saturday night at Traask Coliseum. Colin O’Conor He scored 27 points in the career by registering for 40 minutes in the race.

How did it happen

“We fought tonight, but we were unable to make enough plays to take it out,” chief coach Geno Ford He said. “Going into the game, UNCW was the 36th in the nation in an insulting bounce and we were able to keep them to three in total, low level.”

“Colin had a good ball and I thought that the efforts of Dre’s defense and the glass was exceptional. We are getting better. We still have eight games to try to build some speed for DC,” Ford added.
