Running: Initial unemployment claims have grown in Washington, Colombia County as President Donald Trump’s administration is moving to shrink the federal government. Unemployment records rose to 1780 for the week ending February 8, an increase of 36% compared to the previous week. Overall, about 4,000 workers in the city have applied for unemployment since Trump took office. Read more from CNBC.
