Larry Ray Gilbert

OBITUARY

Larry Ray Gilbert was born on August 26, 1942 at March Air Force Base in Riverside, California. After World War II, he moved his family to Japan, where his father, Donald, served in the Air Force, helping to rebuild Japan. Larry attended Vacaville High School, then earned a BA in Sociology from CSU Sacramento. He later moved to Visalia where he became a real estate agent/broker for 42 years. In 1994, he started LRG Construction Company, which was active for 30 years in the Greater Central Valley. Larry was an avid driver and raced stock cars.

He is survived by his wife Susie, brother Tracy of Visalia, daughter Janice, son Greg, grandsons Jeffrey and Christopher, wife Dusty Rose, great-granddaughter Phoebe and great-great-grandson Truett, all of Washington state. He is also survived by his daughter Stephanie, husband Wes Pollard and 2 granddaughters, Addie and Sloan of Bakersfield and his very close friend Joshua Creech.
