Muskegon – The Oakridge boys’ basketball team had no problem finding the basket with a satisfactory victory with 61-31 WMC-Lakes over the competitive Orchard View on Friday.

The Eagles led 16-4 after the first quarter and continued by 18-7 in the second quarter to lead 34-11 at half.

The scoring continued in the second half, when the Eagles exceeded the Cardinals 19-10 in the third quarter.

The Cardinals beat the eagles 10-8 in the fourth quarter.

Evan Jose led the Eagles with 18 points, including 16 in the first half and nine fights. Evan Miller added 17 points, 15 of them came in the second half. Peyton Ruel scored 12 points and rejected eight assists while Michael Vambo grabbed eight rebounds.

Yasem Davis from Cardinals scored 10 points and Damontae Mcqquarter Chipped at eight points. Curtis Scott contributed seven points.

Oakridge (11-6, 6-3) will visit Kent City on Monday.

Orchard View (5-11, 3-6) hosts Fremont For Edition League next Friday.
