  • NYSE said it plans to submit an electronic securities exchange in Dallas.

  • The message comes after the Texas Stock Exchange recently submitted to SEC for launching trading in 2026.

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is wearing the Lone State Securities Exchange.

Nyse Chicago is expected to move to Dallas and be reconstructed as NYSE Texas, NYSE Operator Intercontinent (ICE) reported on Wednesday. The announcement says NYSE plans to make the necessary documents “in the near future”.

Texas has the largest NYSE lists of any country, representing more than $ 3.7 trillion market value, said NYSE Group President Lynn Martin. The relocation aims to “provide public companies with a list and trade focused on the vital economy of the Southwestern US,” the statement said.

Completely electronic NYSE Chicago was founded as the Chicago Stock Exchange in 1882 and acquired by Intercontinental Exchange in 2018.

This move comes after the Texas Stock Exchange, managed by TXSE Group, submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) at the end of last month to work as a national securities exchange. If approved, the group “intends to launch trade in early 2026, with lists by the end of the same year.”
