Novant Health Helicopter crashes near Wilmington, hurting 3 people – wcnc.com

All three team members were taken to hospital to be evaluated and treated.

New Hanover County, NC – Three people were on board when the Novant Health helicopter crashed near Wilmington, North Carolina, Monday night, Novent confirmed to NBC Wect.

It happened near the new Hanover line and the Holly Shelter Road County.

Novant Health told Wect three team members were on Airlink helicopter; No patient was on board. All three team members were taken to hospital to be evaluated and treated. The extent of their injuries is not yet clear.

There are numerous high -profile aviation incidents in North America since January.

A commercial plane and an army helicopter collided near the Reagan National Airport in Washington, Colombia County, on January 29, killing 67 people. On February 17, a Delta Air Lines plane transferred to its roof while landing at Toronto airport in Pearson, but the airport’s chief executive said that all 80 people on board survived and were injured relatively minor injuries.

Additional details about the crash near Wilmington have not yet been publicly announced.
