The power outage that started just before 4:00 pm in north Reno off North McCarran Boulevard has been resolved.
NV Energy currently shows no outages in the Reno-Sparks area on their outage map.

Power has been restored to more than 1,000 people in a power outage in north Reno.
Nearly 3,800 customers were initially affected when the outage was announced shortly before 4 p.m
That number is now north of 2,500.
In addition, an estimated power restoration time has been established for those still affected.
Power is expected to be restored to the remaining affected customers by 7:30 p.m
The cause of the outage remains under investigation.

Nearly 3,800 people are without power in north Reno, according to NV Energy’s outage map.
The outage is off North McCarran Boulevard, just north of the University of Nevada, Reno.
3780 people are affected by it.
There is currently no estimated time for power restoration.
The cause of the outage is under investigation.
