North Las Vegas Honorary Community Employees with blue ribbons and lights – News3lv

A week after North Las Vegas police officer Jason Roskov was killed in a battle with a gun, his neighborhood gathered to honor his memory.

The street where Roskov lived was decorated with lights and blue ribbons, a testimony of the impact he had on the people around him.

The neighbors described Roscow as a friendly presence, often seen waving everyone while his sons drove their engines.

They said he was well known and loved, calling him “seam in the fabric of their community.”

“There’s a lot more. He was a great dad. He was not just a photo you see on the news that someone who was killed. He has a lot of the neighborhood and for his children and all of us,” Saleberger and Ginny Depa said Roskov’s neighbors.

Roskov will be taken for a break on Thursday.

His funeral service is scheduled to start at 10 o’clock in the Henderson Central Church.

A procession to the church will start at 9am from the Palms Morga on 1600 South Jones.
