North Ayrshire ASN Hallowe’en experience reaps ghostly success – Irvine Times

ASN – Ayrshire Support, run by a team of parents, hailed its Hallowe’en Experience as its most successful event to date.

The event took place at St Matthews Academy in Saltcoats on Sunday 27 October.

It consists of two sessions, the first from 11.45 am to 12.45 pm and the second from 1.15 pm to 2.45 pm.

Children had the chance to get involved with sensory games, a pumpkin patch and bouncy castles.

Pumpkins for their handmade patch were donated by various supermarkets (Image: ASN Support – Ayrshire) The group works to offer inclusive activities in an accessible environment for those with additional support needs.

Various organizations contributed to the day’s event including Cloud Nine Children’s Entertainment, KA Leisure and Wee Messies.

To add to the Halloween atmosphere, pumpkins were donated to the party by Asda, Tesco Irvine, Aldi Saltcoats and Lidl Saltcoats.

Caroline Mitchell, chairman of the organization, said: “I want to highlight our most successful event, our Halloween experience.”

She mentioned the efforts made to create a “safe space” for children with additional support needs.
