Charlotte, NC – Clippers refined its final kick and they needed to provide another road victory on Friday night.
Norman Powell scored 27 points, Cauhi Leonard added 21 points and nine struggles, and Clippers kept the annoying Charlotte Hornet, 112-104, in a game that tightened in the middle of the fourth quarter.
All-Star James Harden finished with 14 points and 10 assists for Clippers, while Ivica Zubac had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Derrick Jones, Jr. had 12 points and Amir Kofi added 10 of the bench, as Clippers won for the fourth time in his last five games.
Clippers (28-20) built a 10-point lead in the third quarter, but saw the margin prun to 97-95 with 6:44, left in the fourth before finally shaking Hornet (12-33) in the last minutes S
Kevin Porter Jr. has stopped by his own 3-point misses to cause a 9-2 mileage. Harden’s 3-Indication made 102-95 with 6:06 to play, and the Powell driving moves the jump for 106-97 spiel heads by 3:32 to the left. Charlotte did not approach seven points the rest of the road.

After his third assist in the first quarter, Harden became one of the 13 players in NBA history to reach 8,000 career assists. Harden joins Russell Westbrook, LeBron James and Chris Paul as the only active players on the list.
