The nominations are open until February 10 for the 34th annual medal for the honorary medal of the San Bernardino County.
The medal for honor of education recognizes people and organizations in six categories that have made an exceptional contribution to the field of education in San Bernardino County, according to a news message.
The categories are voluntary in action/volunteer in the community; Volunteer in the action/service group; Education/small business or franchise partners; Partners in education/corporation or government agency; Excellent achievements in a professional in education/education; and high achievements in education/students graduates.
The deadline for submitting records is 23:59 February 10. The nomination form is available on bit.ly/25edmedApp.
The nominations must focus on how a person or organization has made or made a lasting contribution to one of the 33 school districts of San Bernardino County, district schools, six colleges in the Community or the District Council of the County Education. The detailed requirements are in the nomination form.
The recipients of the awards will be recognized at the meeting of the Association of School Councils of the San Bernardino County, April 21, according to the statement.
