
Wilmington – 91 -year -old Noli Jane Slis Davis of Seneca, South Carolina died quietly on February 14, 2025, surrounded by her children.
Born October 19, 1933 in Georgetown, South Carolina, Noli is the daughter of Ernest & Flossie Smalls and the loving wife of Roland O. Davis, whom she married in 1950.
Previously, Noli was a resident of both Riegelwood and Wilmington, North Carolina, where she was a longtime loyal member of the Baptist Church Riegelwood and NorthSide, respectively. While in NorthSide, Miss Noly joyfully serves as a greeting team for the Guest Service and a member of the horror committee. For many years, Noli was a resident of Longview, Washington, where she and her family were members of Robert Gray’s Baptist Church.
Noli was a graduate of Cape Fear Community College (previously Cape Fear Tech), where he won a nurse’s degree (LPN). Over her years, she has been working at the Regional Medical Center in New Hanover (former New Hanover Hospital), as well as in several local doctors.
Noli’s strong and unshakable faith was obvious in her daily routine, giving a consistent example to her family and friends. Known for her “back”, Noli was a loving and dedicated mom, grandmother and great -grandmother (“Memma”), who was unreadable and unconditionally loved and prioritized his wife, children and family. Noli was also a brutally loyal and loyal friend who was known for his reliability and the uplifting, positive nature. Noli was a talented artist and received great joy and pride in drawing his favorite scenes, especially the Pacific northwestern mountains and shores and gave them to family and friends.
Noli is preceded by death by her mother and father, Flossi and Erfer, her sister Betty and her husband Roland. She survived from her sister Jenny (Tracy) Childers of Georgetown, South Carolina, her daughter Diane Bruer of Fair Play, South Carolina, her son Roni Davis of Westminster, South Carolina, her granddaughter Leslie (Daniel) Poa from Greer, South Carolina . Her grandson Adam (Emily) brewer from Greenville, North Carolina, her five great grandchildren Corben, Eden, Freddie, Eliza and Adalin, as well as numerous nephews, nephews and uncles.
