No. 2 South Carolina Gamecocks dominate Auburn 83-66, extension of SEC Win Streak – Garnet and Cocky

On Sunday, February 2, 2025, South Carolina’s Women’s Basketball Team Gamecocks secured 83-66 over the Auburn Tigers at Colonial Life Arena in Colombia, South Carolina. This victory marks the 70th consecutive Gamecocks victory, setting a new record at a new Southeast Conference (SEC).

Freshman Joyce Edwards led the team with 18 points, marking his fifth consecutive game as a leading goal scorer on the team. Milania Fulvilly contributed 17 points and three thefts, while Chloe Kits added 13 points and nine rebounds. Raven Johnson made it easier to crime with seven assists and six thefts.

The game was closely challenged, with Press corresponding to the intensity of South Carolina for a large part of the match. It was not until the last minutes of the third quarter Gamecocks found a comfortable lead. During the fourth quarter South Carolina scored 21 points, at the same time limiting the Praun to 17, providing victory.
