When will the Texas Longhorns Quinn Ewers Quarterback hear its name in the NFL project?
This is the question that everyone seems to ask themselves after the decision of the local resident of Sutlake, Texas, to join the draft after his teenage season. And while many are not sure when Jers will be selected, there is a story that his shares have dropped from the previous level.
During a recent appearance in Espn’s Pat McAfee Show, Daniel Jeremaya from NFL.com gave her opinion on Ewers. In particular, he shared some of the questions he has about the former Longhorns Quarterback as the design process begins.
“I looked at him in the summer and I was excited for his coming during the year. I had the feeling that I was taller than many people … “said Jeremaya.” Now he was hurt and one of the things I need to try to understand and get information as we pass in the spring how much of that influenced him Since he didn’t play so well, he was not so urgent and fast.
“But then there was a sloping muscle that worried him, there was an ankle dislocation. So, how much did this affected him? He didn’t play as well as me and some others hoped it would be based on what it was last year. “
In each of his three seasons in Austin Jers, he missed time due to injuries. Only last season was it an inclined injury that cost him two games from his last season in Austin. Combine the injuries with the volatile game and it seems that there are reasonable questions about EWERS that will need to be answered in the coming weeks.
Pro Football Focus “NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD” ranks Ewers as the seventh Best Cotterbeck available. This puts him behind names such as Cam Ward (Miami), Sander Sanders (Colorado), Dylan Gabriel (Oregon), Jalan Milro (Alabama), Will Howard (Ohio) and Riley Leonard (Notre Dame).
This is, although EWERS, which entered last season, was considered one of two best signal players. Jers and Carson Beck of Georgia were expected to be among the first two Quarters selected in the NFL project. However, after the season, things changed.
Beck is no longer even a member of the set. Instead, he chose to return to school for his last year of eligibility and transfer to Miami. In the meantime, Jers has declared himself a draft, but his shares are not sure.
Many experts have said they believe that Jers should do the same as a back. Postpone NFL for another year and return to the senior season, although play it elsewhere through the transfer portal.
Still, even after they didn’t just reach them to continue Longhorm until their first national championship match for more than a decade. Jers ended its last season in a burned orange and white, throwing 3472 yards, 31 touchdowns and 12 intercepts.
The three -day NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 24, 2025, and will continue until Saturday, April 26th.
