Albany, NY – the winter advisory council remains in force for parts of New York, Vermont and Western Massachusetts until 4am on Saturday, with dangerous road conditions expected.
According to the National Meteorological Service (NWS) Albani, a mixture of snow, rainfall, frozen rain and rain will go to all the snow overnight. The accumulations range from 2 to 6 inches, with larger sums in the green mountains of South Vermont. The ice deposits will be around a mild glaze, increasing the risk of slippery roads.

• New York: Southeast Warren County, Greater Capital Region, Mohawk Valley, Saratoga Region, and surrounding areas.
• Vermont: Bennington and Windham Counties.
• Massachusetts: Northern Berkshires.

• Midnight to 4 a.m.: Snowfall rates may briefly reach 1 inch per hour before tapering off.
