Apple TV+ has released a new teaser trailer for the second season of the workplace thriller Dismissaland has Adam ScottMark Scout is in full panic mode as he runs around the office.
The teaser also features shots of his original co-stars throughout the trailer, incl Zach CherryDylan George, Britt Laueris Helen Riggs and John TurturroIrving Bailiff.
When Mark returns to Lumon’s office, he meets three new people sitting in Dylan, Helen and Irving’s cubicles. These new mysterious Lumon employees are played by Alia Shaukat (Arrested development), Bob Balaban (Bonnet, Seinfeld), and newcomer Stefano Caranante.
It’s been over two years since Season 1 left off with that cliffhanger, but it’s exciting that it’s back and that we’ll finally be able to watch the next chapter of this story.
At the end of Season 1, employees Mark, Healy, Dylan and Irving managed to get their minds out of the confines of their office and began to piece together who they were in the real world.
Adam Scott stars in the series as Mark Scout, who works a desk job at a mysterious biotech company known as Lumon. The controversial corporation performs procedures in which employees’ psyches are split to separate work memories from personal memories, creating Innies (employees’ personalities at work) and Outties (their personalities outside the office).
Patricia Arquette stars as the manager of the detached employees as well as Mark’s neighbor. As the show progresses, Mark makes curious discoveries that question the company’s intentions.
The season 2 log reads, “Mark (Scott) and his friends learn the dire consequences of ignoring the disruption barrier, leading them further down the path of misery.”
Season 2 will consist of 10 episodes and is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on Friday, January 17.
