Local resident Kim Bosli has a new role as the owner of Chesapeake Wine Company, inflating the Canton store with a new vision and its passion for the community. “Pour up for the purpose” is the mission as it redefines the store’s suggestions while maintaining its inheritance strongly.
Bosley plans to project affordable wines and spirits from brands owned by women when possible, celebrating women in the industry, while creating an attractive space for neighbors and visitors.
“The Chesapeake wine company has always been a beacon in Canton and it is an honor for me to continue this tradition while adding my personal touch,” Bosli said. “I want this to be more than a wine shop – I want it to be a place that keeps small business and serves as a place to collect our community.”
The space of the store has an intimate area of the bar, seating and deck chairs and an extensive choice of wines and spirits. Bosli added Prosecco to the draft, small bites and tips of the Charcutarias to the menu, positioning the wine company Chesapeake as a place for both random trips and special occasions.
To celebrate this new chapter, the store will host the New Sign Celebration on Sunday, February 2 from noon to 5:00 pm, where it will reveal its refreshed branding and logo. The holiday is open to everyone and invited to share the updated vision of Chesapeake Wine Company, while supporting a neighborhood business dedicated to the community and the goal.
