Bowling Green, KY. (WBKO) – A deadly crash closed all traffic sails in I -165 on Saturday afternoon.
The collision happened shortly after 2 pm on the north side of the mile marker of 14.4. It happened between two vehicles, one driven by 31-year-old Alberto Alejandro Alamo Ramos of Hyalea, Florida and 47-year-old Ryan Rutman of Owensborough.
According to the press release, Ramos was driving in the southern lane when his vehicle was lifted to the left, crossed the grass Mediana and entered the northern lane, hitting Rutman’s SUV.
Ramos was declared dead at the place of the coroner of Warren County.
A passenger in the Ramos vehicle and two passengers from Rutman’s car were taken to the Bowling Green Medical Center.
At 7:25 pm, all the sails were re -opened.
The Sheriff’s office of Warren County, Warren EMC, the Corrona’s office of the Warren County and the State Police in Kentucky were also on the site.
The investigation is ongoing.
